Ricardo Bravo and Pedro Lamy tested ASM Team Mclaren MP4-12C at Estoril

ASM Team driver in the Blancpain Endurance Series, Ricardo Bravo, was at Estoril circuit to prepare the second round of the championship, which will take place in the British circuit of Silverstone on the 2nd and 3rd of June. Pedro Lamy was also testing to help the team on the car development and to test new solutions for the following races.

The main objectives of the test was to check all the car systems, after it’s been almost totally striped out, and to check if the brakes issues that have been affecting the car performance, particularly at the first race in Monza, are solved as well.

The team considered the test extremely productive and the car ran without any problems, confirming that the work carried out in the last weeks was very useful and allowed to rectify some issues.

“We had an excellent test and at the right time. I’m very motivated to seat again on the car in the next round at Silverstone and I’m much more confident that we can achieve a good result, showing the promised car potential.” referred Ricardo Bravo.

Pedro Lamy showed his pleasure for the invitation and also for the car performance, for which was positively surprised. “The McLaren is a true race car and with an enormous potential. It has its own particular balance but it’s very funny to drive. I was very pleasant to have tested the car and by the opportunity to contribute for a faster development of the car performance.”

ASM Team will be present at the next round of the Blancpain Endurance Series on the 2nd and 3rd of June with its drivers Ricardo Bravo and Karim Ojjeh, where it hopes to get a relevant result in the Pro-Am class.
