After the Circuito da Boavista, in the weekend of 22/23 October will happen the Algarve Historic Festival, organized by Francisco Santos Eventos.

ASM will be present with the Lola T70 MK3 driven by Miguel Pais do Amaral and with the Lotus Elan 26R driven by Carlos Peres and Miguel Moreno.

“We are eager to return to racing in Elan after the work done by ASM, which we proved in testing in Estoril last August,” said Carlos Peres.

“The Algarve circuit is one of the most interesting and fun I know, competing with Spa, so going there is always exciting,” said Miguel Moreno.

The Ford Escort RS 1600 driven by Armando Paes will have its next appearance on the track in the the IGD race in Ascari, on the 12th and 13th of November.

There is also the possibility of ASM debuting the AHF its latest restoration work: one of the Formula Ford Van Dieman that António Simões drove in ??his Motorsport career in England.

“This Formula Ford has history and it is very nice to drive. We are considering to rent it to customers who want to participate in the Single Seater Series on a regular basis,” said António Simões.

The free practice for the Algarve Historic Festival begins Thursday 20th of October.
