Last weekend the Grande Prémio Historico do Porto was held at the Circuito da Boavista.

For the fourth time since the rebirth of the Circuito da Boavista, ASM Team was present with the Lola T70 MK3 driven by Miguel Pais do Amaral and Manuel Mello Breyner, and with the “new” Lotus Elan 26R driven by the duo Carlos Peres and Miguel Moreno.

“After touching the wall in qualifying, due to the excellent rebuild work on the Lola by the ASM mechanics, it was possible to do a great second race,” said Manuel Mello Breyner.

“It was a well organized race in a fantastic track, where we drive our cars in a unique characteristic of the street circuit” said Carlos Peres.

“Once again I really enjoyed driving in Boavista, this time with the Lotus Elan 26R, now integrated in ASM team” words of Miguel Moreno.

Both cars showed an enviable reliability and performance comparable to the best cars in their classes.

The next historical event in which ASM will participate will be held at the Circuit de Spa, on 23-25 ??September, included in the Masters Historic Racing.”
